Order No. (15) of 2011 With Regard to Amending Paragraph (A) of Article (25) of Law No. (19) of 2006 Concerning the Regulation of the Labour Market

We, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Kingdom of Bahrain:
Having reviewed the Constitution; and
Law No. (19) of 2006 Concerning the Regulation of the Labour Market;
The Consultative Council and the Council of Representatives have approved the following law, which we hereby ratify and promulgate:
The following phrase shall be added (provided that the foreign worker has spent at least one calendar year in his current job) after the phrase (or the provisions of the employment contract concluded between the two parties) appearing in paragraph (a) of Article (25) of Law No. (19) of 2006 Concerning the Regulations of the Labour Market.
The Prime Minister and ministers – each within his jurisdiction – shall implement the provisions of this Law, which and shall come into force after one month from the date of its publishing in the Official Gazette.
