Legislative Decree No. (7) of 2016 With Respect to Reformation of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority

We, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain:

Having reviewed the Constitution;
Law No. (19) of 2006 Concerning the Regulation of the Labour Market; as
amended, particularly Article (6) thereof;
Legislative Decree No. (27) of 2011 With Respect to Reformation of the Board
of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority;
Upon submission by the Prime Minister; and
Following the consent of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Hereby Order as Follows:

Article (1)

The Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority shall be re-formed under the chairmanship of Minister of Labour and Social Development and the membership of:

  1. Mr. Sabah Salim Al Dossary
  2. Mr. Mohamed Ali Mohamed AlQaed
  3. Shaikh Ahmed bin Essa Al Khalifa
  4. Mrs. Maha Abdul Hameed Mufeez
  5. Mr. Nabil Khalid Kanoo
  6. Mr. Jehad Ebrahim Ameen
  7. Mr. Jaffar Khalil Ebrahim
  8. Mr. Yacoub Yousif Mohamed

Their term of office shall be four years.

Article (2)

The Prime Minister and Minister of Labour and Social Development – each within his jurisdiction – shall implement this Legislative Decree, which and shall come into force with effect from the ate of its publishing in the Official Gazette.
