General Questions About the New Mechanism for Expatriate Employees Employment from Abroad

Based on the decision of the Coordination Committee headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister, if you apply an application for a new work permit for a worker outside the Kingdom of Bahrain the following will be applied:

  • Postponement of approval of the application for a period of 21 days, and the requested work permit application will be processed automatically after the end of this specified period.
  • Posting an advertisement for job vacancies in the local newspapers for a period of 7 days. The cost of the advertisements will be 30 dinars for each application and will be added to the monthly invoice of the cr.

If you applied for a new work permit for an expatriate residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain, then the regular procedures will be applied.

For every new application you apply for the expatriate employee from abroad automatically, LMRA will announce the occupation as an available vacancy under the CR for 7 days.

Yes, once he/she submits the application he/she will need to make an electronic ticket on the eSupport system mentioning the application ID and the name of the Newspaper he/she wishes the advertisement to be announced in.

No, For every new application submitted for an expatriate employee from abroad, an advertisement for a vacancy under the CR along with CR email address and contact number will be posted in the local newspapers for 7 days.

All Announced vacancies will contain CR name, email and contact number. If you find a vacancy that suits your qualifications, you can send it to the email mentioned in that particular Advertisement.
