Decree No. (83) of 2020 Regarding the Reformation of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority

We, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain
After reviewing the Constitution,
And Law No. (19) of 2006 regarding the regulation of the labour market, and its amendments, and in particular Article (6) thereof,
And Decree No. (7) of 2016 regarding the reformation of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority's Board of Directors,
And based on the proposal of the Prime Minister,
And after the agreement of the Council of Ministers,
Have decreed the following:
The Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority shall be reformed, headed by the Minister of Labour & Social Development, and with the membership of each of the following:
- Mr. Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al-Qaed.
- Mrs. Maha Abdulhamid Mufeez.
- Mr. Abdulrahman Saleh Al-Sinan.
- Mr. Ahmed Jaafar Al-Hayiki.
- Mr. Mohammed Abduljabbar Al-Koheeji.
- Mr. Ahmed Abdullah bin Hindi Al-Mannai.
- Mr. Ja'afar Khalil Ebrahim.
- Mr. Basem Ali Siyadi.
The term of their membership in the Board is four years.
The Prime Minister and the Minister of Labour & Social Development - each within his jurisdiction - shall implement this decree, and it shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
